Hi Ian

In this case, was worldkit.swf being loaded locally or from a remote server? If a remote server, than the problem probably will be fixed by loading worldkit.swf locally.

Subject: [worldKit-dev] Trouble with javascript - to - worldKit

Hi all,
it appears there's come kind of problem calling worldKit from
javascript. In particular, the demo example in the worldKit
documentation doesn't work when run locally (file:// url). But, tests
indicate it would run from a web-server (http:// url)

My third-party developer is coming to the end of his development
project regarding improved visualisation of rss feeds - but the html
test-wrapper doesn't work when run locally.

There are a number of blog/forum entries regarding the problem (google
for "Error calling method on NPObject!"). It appears to happen
because a call to System.security.allowDomain is required inside the
Flash movie.

Has anybody out there encountered/resolved this problem?

cheers,
Ian
