Hi,
I have the same problem like Guilherme Pedrosa.
When i enter page with my project
http://www.tie-music.net/geo/
there's problem that map is sometimes not successfuly loaded (only black
screen with annotations). I'm using zoomify and source file is diveded by
zoomify into 330 small files.
It's very important to me to show map correctly. So is there any solution of
this problem?

I'm looking into debugging this problem with Zoomify.
The problem seems to be that Zoomify is not always fully loading before it signals to worldKit that it has loaded.
Subsequent reloads fix this, since by then Zoomify is already cached by the browser.
If a solution can't be found there, I may try supporting the zoomify tiling scheme directly in worldKit.
That should work, since worldKit already supports other similar tiling schemes.

I can not open ur website.
My suggestion:
First: Check ur permission setting.
Second: Check the config.xml or other file u used for configration.
Third: Check rss.xml (or ur own data file) to make sure if the xml infos are
in right format.
Good luck.
Cheers

Hello
I've made some substantial changes to how worldKit works with Zoomify,
and have posted a test release to http://worldkit.org/download/latest/worldkit.swf
v3.1-20070123
If folks who've had issues with Zoomify could test with this new version,
and report results back to the list (ie, it works/doesn't work, at this url),
that would be really helpful towards releasing the changes.
If you're interested in the details..
There seemed to be issues with the load timing of zoomifyViewer.swf. worldKit
would sometimes receive a signal that zV had loaded before zoomifyViewer was
actually initialized and ready to go. I tried many things to try and catch this state,
reload or reset or restart zoomifyViewer .. but nothing seemed to work ..
So I got rid of dependency on zoomifyViewer.swf. It was relatively straightforward
to account for Zoomify's tiling scheme within worldKit (just a special case of the
WMS code).
This also meant that a bunch of special case code for Zoomify could be jettisoned,
leaving worldKit a bit leaner and clearer.
The only visible change is that the Zoomify Nav window is no longer available.
If there's interest in having that functionality within worldKit (why not) I can
give some pointers on how to code that.

Hi Stelios
Please test with the just released version, and see if that helps.
And if you still have problems, post the url so we can look directly.

Hi!
I know this was mentioned before in the mailing list, but it seems that
the same problem exist in the version 3.1-20070102
I'm using a fairly big map (50 MBytes JPEG file) which worldkit is
displaying through Zoomify. When I zoom and move the map around, either
by grab or cursor keys or control menu, the annotations are moving from
the point that they should be pointing. Thus, ending up in completely
wrong information.
I'm using firefox and Flash player 9 on linux.

My ratio was wrong.
I fixed the ratio and verything works fine on a 3500 Zoomify tiles map :-)
Thank you
