Michael

http://worldkit.org/vmap0/ shows the data in worldKit, globally.

http://worldkit.org/vmap0/country.rss is the GeoRSS representation.

Note that the proper tag for a GeoRSS Polygon is now <georss:polygon>
http://worldkit.org/doc/polygon.php

Each country can possibly be represented by multiple polygons, for instance if the country contains islands.

The data is derived from VMAP0, a public domain data set published by the US gov. If you're curious,
there's more information in the blog post.

For your bug, post what you have online, and I'll see if anything is obviously incorrect.

Hi Mikel,
Thanks for the response. How are those countries specified in the GeoRss could you provide a code example. I am looking for all the central Asian Countries, since our research is spread across 5 or 6 countries. Yes I do have a url. should I post my stuff on-line and see what the response is. I have one thought about the GeoRss. I had existing lat's and long's for all the stations. For some of the reference number i have two decimels (ie 77.89) some are just whole numbers (ie. 77) will this effect the display of any points. Also could there be a conflict with the referencing of the map vs. How I call out my point? Thanks for the help and I think a resource with different layers such as country borders could be very helpful.
