Hi Olly
Details on the date format supported in worldKit is on http://www.worldkit.org/doc/time.php
These are the formats supported in various RSS flavors.
So yes, at the moment, you do need to include the time. What we need to do is change the format in time display box to be configurable.

Subject: [worldKit-dev] Date format issues
Hi List,
I am interrested in using the 'timeline' element in my map and have added
the following formatted date to all <item> in rss.xml:
<pubDate>01 May 95</pubDate>
In addition i have added the following to config.xml:
<timenav>true</timenav>
<startdate>01 Jun 78</startdate>
<enddate>01 Jun 06</enddate>
But there seems to be a problem with my date format! I don't want to include
'the time' but the points don't dsiplay in order of date at the moment. I
have tried using the help at:
http://asg.web.cmu.edu/rfc/rfc822.html#sec-5
but i find it very confusing so can anyone help clarify what i need to do
differently?
Thanks in advance
Olly
